First Page of "Sir Dufius" Comic completed!

Have a look at this.

Here's the first page of the first episode of "Sir Dufius and the Knights of the Unnecessarily Trapezoid Table". I'll be posting the first five pages of this episode "Sir Dufius and the Thing from the Nether-Fae" as I complete them (I don't want to post all of them because I do want this to be published eventually). I might also post some other pages, too, if I feel like it.

In this debut episode, the senile old warlock Count Senex Bombulus the Tyrannous summons an abomination from the depths of the Nether-Fae, the dark side of the fairy world, but when he discovers he has no control over the fiend, he begrudgingly pleads with the Knights of the Unnecessarily Trapezoid Table to help him get rid of it.

Perhaps this will give you a feel for what the comic will be like, somewhat. So, what do you think so far? Do you like it? Do you not like it? If so, why? I'm open to any and all feedback.

Myth Watch: The Legend of Zelda- The Trinity of Triangles

Here's a little segment of the Corpus Timotheus I like to call "Myth Watch". This is where I take something from popular culture (a modern myth) such as a movie, TV show, comic, video-game, Internet meme, or some such and look at it as if I were a Jungian analyst trying to find the symbols and archetypes expressed by a dream, because myths and dreams do spring from the same place. Superfluous to say, originally this was going to be some grand series of Internet videos, but I soon realized that doing something of that scale was just not feasible for me to do. But I still liked the idea quite a lot, so what I'll do now is, whenever I see mythic patterns in things, I'll post them here.

Now, for today I'm going to be looking at the Triforce and the Golden Goddesses from the Legend of Zelda series of video games. Is Din really benevolent? What do Nayru and Princess Zelda have in common with Christ? What does a fan-speculation say about our collective need for psychic totality? I can't garantee that I have any of these answers, but here's what I think.

Revitalizing an Old Idea: Sir Dufius and the Knights of the Unnecessarily Trapezoid Table

This is actually quite old, just a banner for my 2009 web comic of the same name and general concept. It's not at all relevant but I thought it'd make for a nice little visual header-type thing.
If any of you have been to my deviantART page, you may have stumbled across a little web-comic I was working on back in 2009 (back when I was still in high school... Wow, that was a long time ago) by the name of "Sir Dufius and the Knights of the Unnecessarily Trapezoid Table". It was supposed to be a very silly medieval mock-epic action/adventure comedy that centered around a half-retarded knight by the name of Sir Dufius. I didn't get very far with it (even after completing almost twenty pages of it), probably because I really had no idea about how to pace the thing. But things are different now. I haven't abandoned the idea, because I think it has a ton of potential, it just needs a few tweaks here and there, and probably a couple of re-imaginings. So, after about three years of incubating in the warm womb of my creative unconscious, I think it might be ready to take out of the oven.

Explaining the Existence of this Blog

Hello there, whoever I'm addressing, and welcome to the Corpus Timotheus, Internet home to me, Tim, also known as Timothesium or GiyganMage across the vast and majestic Interwebs. I'm sure you're probably thinking "So who is this Tim guy anyway, and why should I care?" If that's the case, then allow me to explain. Who am I? Well, I appear to be some sort of individuated unit of consciousness encapsulated in a gross (dense-gross, not ew-gross) corporeal manifestation collectively referred to as homo-sapiens. But I suppose you've already deduced that. Perhaps I should be a little more specific.
